iOS APP DEVELOPMENT

iOS apps, built and shipped.

iOS apps built with React Native, submitted properly, and handed over as code your team can maintain.

APP STORE REVIEW

The part that surprises people.

Apple reviews every submission, and first submissions are rejected regularly, usually for reasons unrelated to code quality. Incomplete metadata, missing account deletion, a privacy label that does not match actual behaviour, an unclear permission justification, or a feature Apple considers duplicative can all create delay.

Handling that is part of the work rather than an unexpected event. The app is built with the guidelines in mind, the submission is prepared properly, and rejections are managed when they happen.

Budget for it in your timeline. An app that is technically finished is not the same as an app that is live.

THE DELIVERY REALITY

The build is complete when the app can be released, not when it first runs on a developer device.

WHAT I BUILD

iOS work that has a clear route to release.

Every app is designed around the product, the App Store requirements, and the team that needs to own it after launch.

Consumer iOS apps

Accounts, content, subscriptions, notifications, and the product states a customer-facing app needs.

Business and internal tools

Operational applications, including distribution outside the App Store when appropriate.

Platform companion apps

An iOS experience connected to the web product and backend your team already operates.

Existing app work

Feature delivery and performance fixes on a React Native app that needs a careful next step.

App Store release management

Submission preparation, review handling, and release support through to an app that is live.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

A complete iOS delivery path.

The visible app, backend connections, device testing, and store submission are treated as one delivery.

01

Scope and architecture

A technical plan for the app, data, integrations, and store requirements before the build begins.

02

iOS-aware UI design

Design or implementation that follows iOS conventions without making the product generic.

03

Backend and integrations

API work, Apple Pay, Stripe, push, Sign in with Apple, maps, and analytics where required.

04

Real-device coverage

Testing across iPhone screen sizes and iOS versions that matter to your users.

05

App Store handover

App Store Connect setup, privacy declarations, review management, code, credentials, and documentation.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

In-app purchases need a proper system.

If an app sells digital content or subscriptions, Apple requires its own in-app purchase system and takes a commission. The rules around what must use IAP and what can use external payment are specific, and getting them wrong means rejection.

The implementation covers products, subscription groups, server-side receipt validation, restore purchases, and handling for expiry and cancellation. The client is never treated as the source of truth for a purchase.

“A subscription flow is a product system, not only a payment button.”

COMMON QUESTIONS

iOS development, clearly scoped.

The decisions around iOS delivery, review, and ownership before a project begins.

Do you build natively in Swift?

I build iOS with React Native. Projects genuinely requiring native Swift need a native specialist, and I will tell you if yours is one.

How long does App Store review take?

Usually one to three days, but rejections restart it. Plan for a couple of cycles on a first submission.

Do I need an Apple Developer account?

Yes, in your own name, so you own the app and its listings. I will help set it up.

Can you build iOS only?

Yes, though Android comes cheaply from the same React Native codebase.

Can you fix an existing iOS app?

If it is React Native, yes. Native Swift or Objective-C is outside what I do.

Who owns the App Store listing?

You do. The account is set up in your name from the start.

Need an iOS app built and shipped?

Tell me what it does. You will get a fixed price and a practical release plan.
